Donald is a small country town on the edge of the Mallee area in central Victoria, Australia. Fairmark had a factory in the town for a number of years, housed in a former Methodist Church. The duck logo was produced during the 1980s when duck shooting was a big annual occasion in the town. The population would almost double on "Duck Opening" weekend as shooters came from all over the country to fill their bag quota on Lake Buloke.
