1910-12 Sweet Caporal Pins Al Bridwell New York Giants Merkle Boner

Al Bridwell was a shortstop for the Cincinnati Reds, Boston Beaneaters/Doves, New York Giants, Boston Rustlers/Braves, Chicago Cubs, and St. Louis Terriers. Known for strong defense, he hit .255 lifetime with a .294 peak in 1909. He is best remembered for the 1908 Merkle’s Boner game-winning hit later nullified.
