The pin buckles have been replaced by hook-and-loop fasteners and the heel of the sole has been reinforced. The non-slip and abrasion-resistant sole promotes a firm footing. The upper is made from the skin-friendly, hard-wearing synthetic material Birko-Flor®  reinterpreted with a futuristic look.
