George Grantham Bain (January 7, 1865 – April 20, 1944) was a New
York City photographer. He was known as "the father of foreign
photographic news" In the world of sports photography, he is known as
one of the premier photographers who shot early Professional Basebal and
other sports at the turn of the century.

While we know now that he would become the President of the United
States, at the time this image was taken he was the Governor of
Massachusetts. Beautiful photograph in nice shape overall.
