This listing is for an antique Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co., silver quadruple plate basket with raised floral branch design in the center of the basket.  This may constitute a wedding basket.  The basket is highly decorative with ruffled edges and other elements throughout.  The basket is marked on the base and identified as #1721.

The basket measures about 9-1/2 inches by 8 inches.  It has a height of about 8 inches to the top of the handle.  The weight is 2 pounds, 5.4 ounces.  The handle is stationary.

The basket has a crack in the side that is less than 1/2 inch in length.  There is some rubbing wear to the silver plate in the raised floral branch in the center of the basket.  There is very minimal tarnish.  Please see photos and feel free to ask questions.
