Installation (1025R, 1026R and 2R Series Tractors)
1. Remove right side engine panel.
2. Locate and remove freeze plug at the right side of the engine block.
3. Place gasket between heater adapter and engine block. Install cap screws. Tighten cap screws to specification — 40 N·m (30 lb.-ft.).
Note:
· Lubricate O-ring on coolant heater before installation.
· Be sure to prevent coolant heater element from contacting engine block.
4. Insert coolant heater through heater adapter. Tighten to specification — 75±15 N·m (55±11 lb.-ft.).
5. Connect coolant heater power cord on coolant heater.
6. Fill radiator with engine coolant.
7. Check for leaks.
8. Install engine side panel.
