This is an original tea caddy from Fujiki Denshiro Shoten, utilizing a new manufacturing method while taking advantage of the characteristics of the "molded" technique, which involves creating outer and inner cylinders.

Each outer cylinder, made from cherry bark, walnut, cherry blossom, or maple, is cut into four sections and rearranged before being placed over the inner cylinder. The materials used are, from top to bottom, plain maple, cherry blossom, walnut, and cherry bark, with the "maple" used for the top outer lid being the product name.
