This 1950 Harley WL is an older restoration that has been sitting for the past 10 years or so. It was restored, ridden 45 miles, and then put on display. I put a new battery in it and the bike fired right up but still needs the carb cleaned out to be a runner/rider.
The bike is in really good shape overall, not a major project, not a bunch of reproduction parts. It has the very desirable high compression #6 aluminum cylinder heads. The engine cases are in great shape, no broken mounts, cracks, missing fins, etc. The numbers are correctly stamped from Harley, nothing restamped. The frame and girder are in excellent shape, nothing rusted or pitted, just good old smooth metal. All the tins are in nice shape too.
The bike has a clean CA title, currently registered on PNO so no back fees if it stays in state.
It is located in Grass Valley, CA zipcode 95945. I am happy to meet with a shipper and can recommend an excellent and very reasonable one if you are on the West Coast (he does CA, OR, and WA only).
