The original amber/amberoid threaded stem is present but broken into two pieces, along with the aged bone/casein tenon, all left exactly as found. The case sits flush when closed, the brass latch and steel hinges function smoothly, and the piece measures about 4 × 1.75 × 1 inches overall, with a 2‑inch bowl and the original 3.5‑inch stem seated in the case.
