Robert Riger (June 4, 1924 – May 19, 1995) was an American sports illustrator,
photographer amongst other careers.
At the end of his career he had accumulated over 90,000 photographic
negatives of which 40,000 were of football. Much of his work at that time was in Sports Illustrated.
His book Best Plays Of The Year 1963 is filled with these illustrations.
6 of his illustrations were then printed as an extra bonus for framing included with this book.
This book is in great condition. The pages are near perfect. There is a bit of
wear on the cover but it is very minor.
This collection includes 6 of his prints suitable for framing.
