Listing is for a Vintage Lionel O 27 Train set. It is in above average condition for its age. The set includes the following:
1-1666 2-6-2 Prairie Locomotive Manufactured between 1946-1947.
1- 2466W Tender with silver handrails and stamped lettering. Manufactured between 1946-1947.
Note: The Engine and Tender were brought to an authorized Lionel dealer and tested for running condition. The Engine runs in the forward and reverse directions and the Tender preforms as intended. The dealer recommended they be serviced for a cleaning and oiling. I have taken that into consideration when setting the selling price. I did not have the engine serviced.
1- RARE X2454 Pennsylvania RR Branded. 2454 box car in the orange paint with brown sliding doors. Decaling, paint and door action are in excellent age appropriate condition. Undercarriage is rust free.
1-2465 Shell Oil Company Tanker. Decaling and paint are in excellent age appropriate condition. The under carriage is rust free.
1 -2452 Pennsylvania Gondola Car in black paint with white lettering. Decaling and paint are in excellent age appropriate condition. Undercarriage is rust free.
1 - 2472 Pennsylvania Red Caboose. Stamped lettering is in very good condition. Secondary numbering by trucks has slight fading. Undercarriage is free of rust.
Also included are the following untested track accessories and Original Plastic Ville buildings, Trees, poles and manual crossing gate.
1- Silver Pre war crossing gate with Rare red base.
1- Signal Tower with red ladder attachment
1- # 154 Signal crossing. (Note: this item is missing the white Railroad crossing sign for top of pole. They are available on Ebay.)
1- Plastic Ville School House with original box front. All pieces appear to be present. I did not attempt to build it so I can not 100% guarantee it.
1- Plastic Ville Police Station. The front flap on this box is sealed. I cannot verify if it is a factory tape that is used or if it was tape later. The box is original and in very good age appropriate condition.
1- Bag of trees, poles and manual gates containing the original box front.
Also included is a bag of original operating instructs for the gates, signal lights, a price list and a few other instruction/operating sheets.
The original boxes are included and they are in fair condition for their age. Most are missing an end flap but they are still displayable.
Lastly the Engine, Tender and Cars were all stored in a Ziploc style bag and placed in their original boxes. This is possibly the reason there is no rust on these cars.
Please carefully review all photos prior to purchase.
