Up for sale is an original WW2/WWII Chinese KMT Nationalist army officer dress dagger. These daggers were a traditional accessory for Chinese military officers during WW2 and were often gifted to returning US servicemen after the war. Additionally, these are often referred to as "Chiang Kai-Shek Swords" in period accounts.
This specific dagger is in overall good condition, exhibiting a healthy amount of age but no structural issues. The cellulose grips on these daggers are prone to snapping/cracking, but as you can see in the photos, this dagger does not have that issue. All components are nice and snug, not loose. No scabbard included.
