ORIGINAL OLIVIA MUNROE (b 1953) 'COLLECTION WITH BLUE BOTTLE' SIGNED LIMITED EDITION SIGNED LIMITED EDITION MEZZOTINT

This is just a great original piece. I am such a huge fan or Mezzotints.  It is such a difficult medium for artist's that it is not done by many.  When they do it, it usually turns out to be some of their best work.  If you collect mezzotints, check my store for the others I am offering.  This is a wonderful work by important 20th Century artist Olivia Munroe.  For those not familiar with the artist, I have included her biography below.  This is a wonderful large still life measuring 13 7/8 x 19 7/8 inches on complete original sheet measuring 19 3/4 x 26 inches.  Signed, titled and numbered 97/99 in pencil below the image.  The image is in perfect as printed condition.  The margins show some very faint spotting but most of it is behind the matte.  Archival tape hinges at the top hold it into the original backing and matte.  Matte measures 22 1/2 x 27 1/2 inches.  FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES 

For those not familiar with the artist her biography from a gallery that sells his work reads: "Olivia Munroe (b. 1953), studied printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design. Although from New York, she further perfected her technique and developed her imagery through years spent living in Japan. Munroe's is included in the collections of New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Smithsonian Archives of American Art, Washington, D.C."
