Original U.S. Air Force Type A-11B intermediate flying trousers, manufactured by Sigmund Eisner Company under military contract.
Produced to Specification B219-C and contract AF33 (038) 11559, these trousers date to the early Cold War / Korean War period (circa 1949–1953). They represent the transition from WWII Army Air Forces equipment to early USAF issue and are a great example of period flight clothing.
Made in classic olive drab with an insulated construction for cold weather flying, they feature a full-length heavy-duty front zip, cargo pocket to the leg, and reinforced areas for durability.
Labelled size 28, with clear and legible contract details.
Condition:
In good vintage condition overall, with light wear and some marks consistent with age and use. The zips are present and functional, and the trousers remain a solid and well-preserved example.
