This early express/railroad-era document records the receipt of a sealed package from a customer and its forwarding information. Handwritten entries include date (“Newport March 1872”), sender, package details, and destination (appears to reference Marshall Co., Kansas).
Features ornate printed borders, company terms, and the signature of the Eastern Express agent along bottom. A genuine piece of 19th-century American express, freight, and transportation history.
