Offered here is a high-quality antique Japanese cloisonné vase, dating to the late Meiji to early Taishō period (circa 1895–1915). This finely crafted example features exceptionally delicate fine wire cloisonné work on a luminous turquoise-blue ground, depicting a pheasant beneath blossoming plum branches, a classic Japanese motif associated with renewal, perseverance, and seasonal beauty.

The enamel work is executed with notable precision, showing thin, crisp wires throughout the design and smooth, well-controlled enamel surfaces. The pheasant is rendered with subtle tonal shading, while the plum blossoms display soft color transitions that add depth and visual interest. The composition is well-balanced and carefully proportioned, reflecting the refined workmanship of late 19th to early 20th century Japanese cloisonné production.

The vase is finished with brass rims at the mouth and foot, consistent with period examples, and presents as an elegant small-format work suitable for both collection and display.
