This is an 8x10 vintage photo of JOHN GILBERT.  One of the biggest stars in silent films, Gilbert starred in such silent movies as "He Who Gets Slapped" (1924) with Lon Chaney, "The Big Parade" (1925) with Renee Adoree, "La Boheme" (1926) with Lillian Gish, and "Love" with Greta Garbo. The photo has a bend that runs from the top right corner along the right edge which can be seen in the photo.  There are some stains on the photo most notably a splotch to the right of his ear. Otherwise, solid photo that has survived the past 100 years well. There is a autograph on the photo that I believe is a real autograph, not printed in the photo itself. and not stamped since in stamped autographs the ink is broken up.  The lines in this autograph are solid.  Wish I could say with 100 percent certainty, but I just can't say definitively.
