"Matin Matka" (Matti's Trip or Matti's Day Out) is a now very rare vintage children's tableware series produced by Arabia Finland in the 1960s, and designed by Raija Uosikkinen.
It features a charming and whimsical scene, full of fascinating details with red and blue on a white background. This cup is 7cm tall x 7.5cm wide (it was not made with a saucer). Capacity of 200ml. It is clean and bright with only light signs of wear. The original setting included deep plates/soup bowls (approximately 17.5 cm to 19.5 cm) and cups/mugs in a hard ceramic similar to porcelain with a gloss white glaze.
