• If the original cable is still exist, you can identify it by the printed markings on the cable, labeled as CC189xx, the last two digits xx of the part number represents the cable length. For Example: CC18915, so Required Length: 15FT
• If the cable is lost or the markings are unreadable, you can measure the required length using the following steps: Measure from the control unit along an unobstructed cable path to the center of the outboard (A+B), and then add 4 feet and round up to the next whole number. For Example: A= 3.6FT, B= 7.2FT; Total length = 3.6FT + 7.2FT + 4FT = 14.8FT; Round up to the next whole number, so Required Length: 15FT
