This a modern trinket glass dish. There is a dip in the glass that makes it perfect for your rings and jewelry. The glass is thick enough that you could use it to serve food. The glass is blown so there are some bubbles in the glass. There are pieces of multicolor glass that has been fused into the glass. The bottom of the dish is clear so you can see through it, I took pictures of the glass on top of coral granite and white to show the differences. If you are to hang the dish, the stand that will hold the dish will be seen through the dish, see the picture of the stand. 

Glassware is wrapped to protect the item in shipping. Items are placed in a larger box to ensure that there is enough room for extra padding. All Glassware is packed with the idea that the box will be dropped or thrown at some point in the shipping process. Please be careful when opening the item, some items are taped to keep padding together. Shipping for Glassware can not be combined, because the items are packed in a way that will ensure safe travels.

The stand in pictures is used for staging and not included in the sale of this item. The glass is wrapped then covered in cardboard and taped. Then it's placed into a box and surrounded by padding.
