I bought this from an antique dealer who I buy a lot of stuff off 

After I bought it he told me that when he was younger he did a lot of work on Eric Claptons house and this was one of a few instruments that was left in his loft 

I've no reason to disbelieve him and he told me after I bought it so he wasn't making up a story to get me to buy it - he's also mentioned knowing Eric Clapton to me before 

I'm not saying this as I think it will add any value to the instrument, plus i've no way of proving this - and the instrument is being sold as spares / repairs / prob etc as the bowl back is in poor condition and I'm not sure if it plays properly - it might need attantion. 

It might be a nice display piece perhaps for a Morrocan / Lebanese restaurant - with a quirky little story to go with it !
