Striking Navajo pottery vase signed J. Curley and dated 2003. Features a bold black gloss glaze over natural terra cotta with hand-incised (sgraffito) geometric and rhythmic banding throughout.

Classic Southwest aesthetic with strong contrast between the carved clay body and high-gloss black surface. Nicely balanced form with a flared rim and rounded shoulder. Substantial presence for display.

Measures approx. 8 1/2" high, 6" at widest point, and 4 3/4" diameter opening.

Signed on base: “J. Curley ‘03.”

Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, breaks, or repairs. Clean with minimal signs of handling. Crisp incised detail and strong glossy finish.
