This is a Antique 1880's Authenic Circus Poster "Yankee Robinson's Double Show". The colorful poster is 11 1/2" x16 on light paper. The Yankee Robinson Circus was started by Fayette Ludowick Robinson in the 1850's. His home base was Charleston, S.C. The circus, one of the biggest in the country, traveled by rail. Robinson died in Iowa in 1884 and the Ringling Bros. bought the show. There is damage to the poster (see pictures) but is complete. On the bottom is a space to put in the name of the town the circus is performing in. I will ship the poster folded (as it was when I found it) as it will not get damaged more.
