Here we have a vintage Maruhon Ware large Hen On Nest produced in Occupied Japan between 1945 and 1952. It features a painted hen sitting on top of a basket weave textured base. It is clearly marked on the bottom, and the colors are vibrant. There is no damage or any flaws. These are highly collectible for their obvious quality and connection to post war historical context.
