Lid shows overall toning, surface soiling, color fade, edge rubbing, corner bumps, and small tears and splits along several edges and corners, with some crushing and paper loss at the corners. Box base has rubbed and softened edges, interior discoloration and scattered spots, and the underside shows age toning, stains, pencil writing, and dark ink scribbles. Conversation slips are uniformly aged with darkening, scattered stains and spots, soft and frayed corners, light creases, and occasional heavier bends from play.
