I would call it, "skeletonized." This minimalist holster comes with less bulk right out of the box, while still offering universal attachment.
Retention: This is a level I retention holster. That means the weapon is secured by friction and it doesn't have a release mechanism like level II or III's some jobs require.
Fit: The part of the rail attachment device that goes on your pistol secures to the pic rail with a crossbolt that engages the teeth of the rail, and fits nicely on the trigger guard for a flush look. That said, this only fits pistols or airsoft pistols with an trigger guard measuring under 5/8" at the "well"/upper/forward part. Some airsoft guns trigger guards are over-large.
