William (Willy) Skye, Gagweniyoh(Hanging Moon) was born on July 15, 1975. Willy, of Iroquois heritage, belongs to the Snipe Clan of the Seneca, and lives in Ohsweken, a Six Nations Territory just south of Brantford in southern Ontario. He started sculpting at the age of 16.
