Crafted in the United Kingdom, believed to have been manufactured by 'Mascot' (A.S Brown & Co). I have seen another example of this same design with their patent. However, not all 'Mascot' pieces were marked to the compact itself, only to the outer box or paper insert.

This compact is a testament to the era's flair for stylish cosmetics. In particular, the 'fashion' theme perfectly captures the essence of the swinging 60's. Always desirable to collectors. 

Opens to reveal a mirror and white plastic base compartment (where powder tray and puff would be held).

Measurements: 78mm in diameter; 9mm deep.

In good overall vintage condition; there is some tarnish to the metalwork (base and rim).
