A genuine Linhof-branded Compur leaf shutter in full working order and good cosmetic condition.
This is a precision German-made mechanical shutter intended for use with interchangeable large format camera lenses. It is supplied complete with its mounting ring and would be suitable for restoration projects, replacement installations or the construction of custom lens boards where compatible dimensions permit.
The shutter has been tested and operates positively throughout its full speed range. All controls rotate smoothly with clear and distinct differences between the shutter speeds.
Shutter markings
- Speeds: T, B, 1, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200
- Aperture scale: f/5.6 to f/32 (actual aperture values will depend upon the lens installed)
The original mounting ring is included.
Measurements
- Mounting diameter (through lens board): approximately 50mm
- Front and rear lens thread diameter: approximately 45mm (measured at 44.8mm)
Measurements were taken using digital calipers across the thread crests. Internal dimensions were measured at the widest visible thread opening.
Please note
This is not a standard modern mounting size. Compatibility with any particular lens, lens board or camera is not guaranteed, and prospective buyers should carefully compare the dimensions with their own equipment before purchase.
Condition
Good used condition with only light signs of previous use consistent with age. The shutter fires strongly at every marked speed, the controls operate smoothly and the mounting ring is present. Please examine the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
