 Raised on a bell-shaped base and set with a wide drip-pan connected to a smaller upper tray by a tall tapering column, vividly enamelled around the body with the eight buddhist emblems alternating with large lotus blooms on dense scrolling leafy stems, with a puce-enamel key-fret band at the foot, dispersed at various intervals with bands of ruyi, interlinked pendant and upright trefoils, dots, and gilt bands, all reserved on a rich lemon-yellow ground, the interior base enamelled turquoise, inscribed to the drip-pan with an iron-red horizontal six-character seal mark within a cartouche
