This is a Hanamaru Makie Natsume (tea caddy) crafted by Kosai Takeuchi.
The Natsume features a beautiful gold lacquer "Hanamaru Makie" design, where seasonal flowers are depicted within circles.
Flowers such as pine, bamboo, plum, chrysanthemum, and orchids are painted, making it suitable for use throughout the year.
The Natsume is in excellent condition, free from cracks, chips, or scratches.
It comes with a Kiribako (paulownia box), which has some stains but is otherwise in good condition.
