DESCRIPTION: 

Woody (Tom Hanks), a good-hearted cowboy doll who belongs to a young boy named Andy (John Morris), sees his position as Andy's favorite toy jeopardized when his parents buy him a Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) action figure. Even worse, the arrogant Buzz thinks he's a real spaceman on a mission to return to his home planet. When Andy's family moves to a new house, Woody and Buzz must escape the clutches of maladjusted neighbor Sid Phillips (Erik von Detten) and reunite with their boy.

The Buzz Lightyear Ultimate Talking Action Figure was Thinkway Toys' first attempt at creating a full scale replica of Buzz Lightyear. Released in August 1995 alongside the Poseable Pull-String Talking Woody, this figure included a multitude of the features the toy in-movie contained. This Buzz continued re-releases, including multiple color variations until 2009. Due to the success of the film, this was one of the most popular action figures of the 1990s. Thinkway took a chance in creating these toys and ended up not having enough Buzz Lightyear figures to meet consumer demands, with over 50,000 figures being produced.
