The BM645-L-XF L-Plate for Phase One XF and Mamiya 645AF from Really Right Stuff is machined from a solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum, which creates a fixed L-plate that can be changed while on top of a tripod, from a vertical to a horizontal position, without sacrificing your center of axis.

Twisting between the camera and the L-plate is prevented because of the flange and the two detent pins. In addition, Type II black anodizing has been applied to the L-plate and has given the plate a smooth surface, which is resistant to scuffs, scratches, and corrosion. Also, the L-Plate has laser engraved center marks on the back of each axis for alignment on a tripod head, and a boss has been machined into the side of the plate, so an accessory hand or shoulder strap can fit.
