Beautiful Staffordshire Enamel Hand Painted Trinket Box, Goodyear Heritage Edition

Up for sale is this exquisite vintage enamel trinket box, handcrafted in the heart of England by Staffordshire Enamels. This particular piece appears to be a corporate heritage commission for the Goodyear tyre company, combining industrial history with traditional British craftsmanship.

Design & Detail:

Lid: Features a stunning, multicoloured hand-painted pastoral scene in the 18th-century style, depicting a shepherd and shepherdess in a romantic landscape.

Interior: The inside of the lid is finished with a delicate blue forget-me-not floral spray.

Body: A vibrant "Goodyear Blue" enamel base with a polished gold-tone (gilt) hinged mount.

Condition: The enamel is in superb condition with no chips, cracks, or "crazing." The hinge is tight and snaps shut perfectly. The gold-tone metal shows minimal signs of age.
