Vintage 1999 Yamaha Portatone PSR-240 61-Key 100 Voice Polyphonic Electronic Keyboard / Synthesizer (WORKING!)

Used. Includes the original instruction booklet. But, no box, or 10-12v power adapter.

This has been tested and it works fine. The audio sounds good. Every key and button operates as they should. The MIDI in's and out's activate perfectly. Battery compartment is quite clean. No leaked battery acid inside.

It's got 100 different instrument sounds, 100 different pre-programmed drum patterns and beats. It has tons of options within the LCD menu (Tempo / Transpose / Fine Tuning, Effects, etc.). Too many many to mention here. The included instruction manual will give you all the specifics you'll need.

The sound palate on this model is your classic mid 1990's / early 2000's digital keyboard fair, with many of the sounds being carryovers from earlier Yamaha PSR models, along with some new ones for it's time. Perfect for practice, performance, or recording, if you add some effects.

Listen while you play using the built-in stereo speakers, or with headphones and external monitors, using the stereo audio-out jack. If you have a separate sustain pedal, you can plug it into the PSR-240 and use it just like the foot pedals on a piano to create realistic and resonant sustain.

Overall, I would say this is in fair / good condition. It sounds good as an instrument. I've used it for a number of years for it's drums, organs and wind instruments, as well as a MIDI controller for my other synths. However, it has some cosmetic damage to the exterior. See pics for closer inspection, or feel free to ask questions. Thank you. Have a happy new year.

I am selling this unit as-is. No returns will be accepted.

THIS SALE IS FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY, DUE TO THE SIZE AND WEIGHT OF THE KEYBOARD.
