Society at San Rafael is greatly interested in the coming carnival of nations that will take place on May 20th, during the afternoon and evening, in the beautiful grounds  of the Mt. Tamalpais Military Academy, the old O'Connor place. The funds resulting from the carnival will go toward exterminating the Marin county mosquito and planting and caring for shade tress. Beside, the school children will be organized into clubs to assist in tree planting.

I couldn't begin to enumerate all the surprises that the energetic women have arranged for their guests. There will be masqueraders, troubadours, a military drill by the "solider boys" and a horse sow on the campus. There'll be special guards of honor detailed from the cadet corps and there'll be a "Pike," with side-shows and witty spieler and enough other diversions to keep one busy and satisfied with having gone all the way to San Rafael for an afternoon of fun.

I know of dozens of our people who are going to attend. One girl said: "I wouldn't miss the carnival for anything."
