This is a nylon ribbon, all black ink with 2 plastic spools and eyelets.  The model of the ribbon is GROUP 9 which suits, among others, the popular HERMES typewriters, such as the Hermes Baby, Hermes 2000 and Hermes 3000 models. It also fits most Japanese made typewriters such as BROTHER, NAKAJIMA ALL,(who made machines for Litton, Imperial, Royal, Olympia and Adler). This ribbon will also fit the  POST WAR and  PRE WAR UNDERWOOD AND ROYAL  PORTABLES, those 1940s and 50s SMITH CORONA PORTABLES and a wide variety of store Brands like CHEVRON, LEMAIR AND PINNOCK and HANNIMEX MACHINES..
