This is a truly wonderful crystal glass cut glass piece by Fumio Sasa.
I used it a few times and then displayed it. As it is a used item, please purchase it assuming there are some scuffs, scratches, and dirt from use. I have included many photos, so please judge the condition from the pictures. There may be some deterioration or damage that I have not noticed, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item or are very particular about condition.

A designer who participated in the management of Hoya Glass from its early days as a craftsman designer and led the crystal business. He was a pioneer who opened up new avenues for product design in Japan, and in the 1950s, amidst the rapid Westernization, he was one of the earliest designers to explore new ways of interior design that suited Japanese living spaces. His designs were unique, making use of perspective and lens effects, and he left behind many architectural designs that made full use of the refraction of light.
