TELECASTER Scratch Plates – available in 20 colours – designed to fit Mexican & USA Telecasters 8 screw hole configuration with standard pick up arrangement.  

The Scratch Plates have no Neck Pick Up mounting screw holes. If your guitar needs these, it is a simple case of drilling these in yourself.


Cut out for Control plate is 32mm diameter.


Choose from;

White WBW, Aged White, Vintage Cream CBC, Mint Green, Dark Brown Tortoiseshell, Brown Tortoiseshell, Red/Black Tortoiseshell, Black BWB, Single Ply White, Single Ply Black, Single Ply Cream, White Pearl, Aged Pearl, Dark Grey Pearl, Gold Pearl, Red Pearl, Purple Pearl, Blue Pearl, Green Pearl and Mint Green Pearl.


The second main close-up photo compares the Dark Brown Tortoiseshell (left), Red Brown Tortoiseshell (middle) & the Red/Black Tortoiseshell (right) to illustrate the differences. 

The Dark Brown Tortoiseshell and the Red Brown Tortoiseshell have cream patches in the pattern. Whereas the Red/Black Tortoiseshell in a finer pattern texture with no Cream patches. 

Points to consider when choosing a Tortoiseshell plate; generally if the your guitar body is light in colour e.g Olympic White then a darker Tortoiseshell works well. Conversely a Black Body Works well with the Brown Tortoiseshell. Please also consider the colour of the neck; Rosewood fret boards work well with the darker Torts unless it is a 'reddy' Rosewood then the Brown Tortoiseshell maybe more suitable. Maple necks go well with the darker Torts but is all down to your person taste :-)


Use the 'drop down' selector to choose your colour.


When fitting ANY after-market Scratch plate you may need to make some small adjustments, filing and positioning to get the best fit on your guitar.


May also fit most import TELECASTER Style guitars, including FENDER Squiers.
Some drilling of one or two holes maybe required on import style Telecasters due to the many differences of hole spacing by worldwide guitar manufacturers.
