Australian Test Cricket Toy Figurine Set VB Talking Boony Beefy Boonanza II 2006 As part of the ASHES series in Australia in 2006/07, Foster's Australia put together another massive VB promotion. This time, it was tagged the 'Battle of the Tashes' and Boony was joined by old mate - legendary English cricketer Ian 'Beefy' Botham. Boonanza 2 - 'The Battle of the Tashes' paid tribute to the glory days of test cricket and brought back a sense of 1980's nostalgia. Talking Boony and Talking Beefy figurines harked back to their hey-days, dressed in Test Match whites, proudly sporting their signature 'tashes'. Moving forward from the first Boony campaign are the Talking Boony and Talking Beefy figurines.

The infrared commentary between the figurines does not seem to work anymore. There is the push button feature allowing each figurine to talk on demand. With this these items do work on push button and not on the infrared banter and will be sold in acceptable as is condition ONLY.
