Chew Secret Agent Poyo #1 SDCC Gold Foil Variant CGC 9.8 Signature Series comic book from Image Comics which is signed by John Layman and Rob Guillory, the creative team behind this series.

This limited edition Gold Foil variant was only available at the San Diego Comic Convention in 2012.

It is very hard to get in CGC Signature Series, as the creators make infrequent appearances at US Conventions. CGC also now require that multiple signature books can only be done at the same show or event.

It has been professionally graded by CGC and slabbed in a sealed tamper proof protective case. 

NOTE - this has a second generation CGC case and they are only sealed and fixed at the corners, so the top and side edges are not sealed tight and may have tiny gaps. This is perfectly normal for this style of case and further details are on the CGC boards if you use a search engine and use "CGC case gaps".

We will not accept returns or claims for not as described for this as it is a characteristic of this style of case. We will provide photos of the sides before shipping to avoid any issues over claims that the cases are faulty.

The grade is guaranteed to be high investment grade 9.8 (NEAR MINT/MINT) and it is also a yellow label signature series, which means that an authorised CGC representative witnessed the signings, and this also acts as a Certificate Of Authenticity as the comic is taken  by CGC immediately and held until it is graded and sealed in a sealed tamper proof plastic case.

You can verify the authenticity of the grading and the signatures by entering the 10 digit serial number at the CGC comics web-site.

The glare on the front cover is just reflection from the scanner on the CGC outer case, it is not "newton rings".

There are no cracks on the case and it will be shipped in robust packaging to stay that way.
