Crafted with exquisite care, the Royal Doulton Countess of Harrington figurine is a tribute to historical elegance. From the esteemed Reynolds Ladies Collection, this limited edition piece, manufactured in 1991, showcases the fine artistry of Staffordshire's renowned bone china. The figurine stands at a proud 23 cm, adorned with vibrant multicolours that bring the subject to life.
From 1991-1993, Royal Doulton produced a limited edition of four figurines modelled by Peter Gee, the "Reynolds Ladies". These were 18th century aristocrats who had been painted by the very popular society portrait artist Sir Joshua Reynolds. This figurine was produced exclusively in a worldwide limited edition of 5,000, this is number 725. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Her wreath has been reattached to her hand, other than that she is perfect.
Included in this offering is the original box and certificate of authenticity, ensuring the piece remains a collector's gem. Each detail, hand-painted to perfection, underscores the uniqueness of this creation. With its historical figure theme, this figurine is not just a decoration but a slice of English heritage, exquisitely preserved for future generations to cherish.
