Circumferential 4-fold thread decoration, looped upwards on one side at regular intervals, loops crossing each other at the ends of the handles of the cutlery items.

ORIGINAL WOODEN CASE: This silver cutlery set is stored in the original solid wooden cassette with three removable compartments, equipped with the original deerskin cover, which is in very well-maintained condition, the dealer's signature in gold writing on the inside, two rotating hooks on the front as closures and fold-down handles on the side.

Commercial award in 1886, silverware production, founded in 1838 by his father, Thomas Dub, production of cutlery, tableware, cigarette cases and cassettes, assembled and inlaid walking sticks, luxury items, church and cult equipment, glass mounts, hollowware. 1908 to 1914 staff of 50 workers, owner until 1922.
AUGUST ONE SPINNER (1870-1927)
learned the goldsmith's trade in Vienna and settled in Graz in 1898 as a master goldsmith. He made various objects from silver, including tableware and vessels. Einspinner also worked with artists and designers. For example, he executed designs by Rudolf Hofer. His works were shown at international exhibitions, such as the 'Exposition Internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes' in Paris in 1925. Works by August Einspinner, especially silverware, are represented in collections such as those of the MAK (Museum of Applied Arts) in Vienna and the Landesmuseum Joanneum in Graz and regularly appear in art auctions.
In addition to his work as an artisan, Einspinner was also politically active (member of the Graz municipal council, member of the Styrian state parliament and Reichsrat) and was involved in various commercial and cultural organizations, including as curator of the Joanneum State Museum and president of the Styrian Decorative Arts Association.
