HISTORY
When John Justin Jr. took control of Justin Boots in 1949, the company debuted a new model that became known as the “roper.” This was due to their rounded, lower-heeled toe that were designed specifically for rodeo competitors.
The Style, “1949,” was reintroduced in the 1970s and 1980s, representing yet another shift towards the “Urban Cowboy” aesthetic that dominated fashion during that era.
