Up for auction is Marvel Feature Presents: Red Sonja #5! This is the classic first solo series featuring the sword and sorcery heroine “Red Sonja” created by Robert E. Howard! This Bronze-Age comic book was published by Marvel Comics in July 1976! This issue features “The Bear God Walks!” by Bruce Jones with great artwork by Frank Thorne! It is the original first printing of the comic book with a 25¢ cover price. The comic book also features a classic Marvel Masterwork Pin-Up of Red Sonja by Frank Thorne! As shown in the photos, the comic book is a nice reader/filler copy, probably in good or better condition with some cover wear, creasing, and light soiling, including a split from the top staple and ¾” bottom split on its spine. The comic book is complete and remains stapled from its cover to its centerfold. It has clean pages with some corner creasing and no writing, rips, or tears. There may be a few small bindery tears. This vintage Marvel Feature presents Red Sonja comic book would make a great addition to your collection!
