The speaker enclosure, battery casing, and AC adapter are all comprised of 90% PCC, while the keyboard frame uses 60% PCC. Keycaps use 70-85% (depending upon backlighting). What’s more, our packaging is Forest Stewardship Council^® (FSC)-certified and is 100% recycled and plastic-free.

Accessible Design

Setting the standard for broad accessibility, our redesigned ThinkPad keyboard now includes tactile markers on the most common keys for improved discoverability, as well as an LED braille bump to easily indicate the charging port location.  The optional fingerprint reader is paired with the power button for an easier experience. We’ve even increased the size of our TrackPad to 120mm / 4.72″.
