Vintage James Remind‑O‑Timer Electric Clock – Oakland Calif – Working Clock, Buzzer & Light – Bakelite

Description

This is a vintage James Remind‑O‑Timer electric clock made by James Manufacturing Co., Oakland, California. The clock runs smoothly and keeps time, the buzzer works properly, and the blue indicator light in the lower left corner lights up as it should. The reminder ring and pointer are intact and functional. There is some rubbing to the printed 5/10/15 numbers on one side of the reminder dial (see photos).

The Bakelite case shows normal age wear and could use a light cleaning, but there are no cracks or chips. The back plate is clean and original, marked Model HR with clear serial and patent information. An old service-company label from Universal Hotel Service Co. (Los Angeles) remains on the back, adding provenance and character.

Measures approximately 8" x 8" x 3". A solid, fully working example of this classic mid‑century reminder clock.
