Condition of the Body

This refers exclusively to the external casing, including hand grips, buttons, dials, the outer surface of the lens, and the display casing (if the display is articulated). Any cosmetic imperfections, such as scratches or wear, are assessed only on these external elements and do not impact functionality.

Condition of the Lens Optics

This pertains solely to the optical components, including the glass elements within the lens. It does not take into account any wear or cosmetic flaws on the outer casing of the lens. Clarity, sharpness, and the absence of scratches, fungus, or haze are the key factors in this evaluation.

Condition of the Display

This assessment applies strictly to the screen surface itself, excluding its casing. Factors such as scratches, dead pixels, discoloration, or other visual defects affecting image quality are considered, while the external housing of the display is evaluated as part of the body condition.

Condition Ratings

• Like New – As if brand new out of the box. No visible signs of use, wear, or imperfections. No scratches, marks, scuffs, or discoloration. The optics are clear and free from dust or defects.
• Excellent – Minimal signs of use. Slight wear may be present but barely noticeable. Tiny marks or minor paint imperfections may be visible under close inspection. Optics remain clear, with no significant dust or defects.
• Very Good – Moderate signs of use. Noticeable marks, minor scuffs, or slight discoloration may be present. Optics may have minimal dust but no significant impact on performance.
• Good – Clear signs of use. More prominent marks, wear on rubber grips, or minor scratches may be visible. Optics may have some dust or minor imperfections that do not affect usability.
• Well Used – Distinct wear with visible scuffs, scratches, or worn-out rubber grips. Noticeable dust or small defects in optics may be present but do not severely impact performance.
• Heavily Used – Significant wear with heavy marks, deep scratches, or faded parts. The optics may have considerable dust or imperfections, possibly affecting image clarity.
