Elegant antique-style mahogany tantalus set featuring two beautifully cut glass decanters housed in a wooden locking frame. This classic barware piece reflects the refined style of the Victorian era.

A tantalus was designed to store and display fine spirits while keeping them secured under lock and key—preventing unauthorized access. The name comes from Greek mythology, where Tantalus was punished by being surrounded by food and drink he could not reach—much like the visible yet inaccessible decanters in this set.

The decanters feature detailed cut glass patterns with faceted stoppers, adding brilliance and sophistication to any bar or display.
