Vintage butterscotch / mustard Bakelite bead necklace or prayer beads, mid-20th century.

The beads are made of semi-translucent Bakelite with a warm honey glow when backlit. The color ranges from rich honey to mustard tones, showing a desirable aged patina typical for authentic vintage Bakelite.

Material has been tested with Simichrome (positive result).

• Total of 22 Bakelite beads

• 2 accent beads mounted in petal-style metal caps

• 4 brass spacer beads

The piece is strung with metal chain and brass elements consistent with vintage construction.

Please note: both accent beads have minor defects — each metal cap is missing one petal, which does not affect structural integrity and remains subtle in overall appearance.
